SV	Vaar niet haastelijk voort om te twisten, opdat gij misschien in het laatste daarvan niet wat doet, als uw naaste u zou mogen beschaamd hebben.
WLC	אַל־תֵּצֵ֥א לָרִ֗ב מַ֫הֵ֥ר פֶּ֣ן מַה־תַּ֭עֲשֶׂה בְּאַחֲרִיתָ֑הּ בְּהַכְלִ֖ים אֹתְךָ֣ רֵעֶֽךָ׃
Trans.	’al-tēṣē’ lāriḇ mahēr pen mah-t^a‘ăśeh bə’^aḥărîṯāh bəhaḵəlîm ’ōṯəḵā rē‘eḵā:

AC	ח אל-תצא לרב מהר פן מה-תעשה באחריתה--בהכלים אתך רעך
ASV	Go not forth hastily to strive, Lest [thou know not] what to do in the end thereof, When thy neighbor hath put thee to shame.
BE	Do not be quick to go to law about what you have seen, for what will you do in the end, when your neighbour has put you to shame?

Sch	Gehe nicht rasch gerichtlich vor; denn was willst du hernach tun, wenn dein Nächster dich zuschanden macht?
